| Notes | PIN 2 connection explanation. On BMW cars it is used as inputfor analogue indicator light/flasher light. Because BMW cars shutdown the CAN-busafter some time when the hazard lights are activated. The module would then stop with hazard-light on trailer, because of missing CAN-Bus. To avoid this,the analogue indicator light signal is connected on Pin 9 on BMW cars. Pin 9 has also a hardware difference: The module cannotbecome awake when connecting 12V signal on it. On the other input it works. For BMW this is no problem, because when CN-Bus is sleeping and somebody is activating hazard-lights, the CAN-Bus becomes on for a short time. This time isenough to restart our module from sleep-mode. |
